Welcome to Greenock Primary School

Greenock Primary School is a small school located close to Tanunda and Nuriootpa in a pleasant rural setting in the heart of
the Barossa Valley. Students attending are primarily from our local community and adjacent rural properties, with some travelling
from neighbouring towns. The values of respect, honesty, responsibility and success lie at the heart of our teaching and learning approach and are reflected in our diverse curriculum. Further, our school logo reflects our strength in developing strong ties to families and the wider community.

The school provides learning in all areas of the curriculum, Reception - Year 7. Our current focus areas are numeracy, literacy
and science with Indonesian being taught as our Language Other than English subject. Student wellbeing is also a key focus, while high level parent involvement in supporting classroom programs and activities is valued and through an active Governing Council there is wide community involvement in the future growth and development of our school.
